Build 42 changes address background appearance handling and restore Home and Markets updates after switching apps.

Appearance when switching apps

System appearance changes wait until Foresyt is active and focused again. Temporary light and dark appearances used by iOS while backgrounding no longer trigger an immediate full-screen theme update.

Home and Markets recovery

Home keeps its latest feed during a brief app switch and refreshes it if it is missing or expired on return. Markets restarts an interrupted request for the selected event when that view is active. Live update subscriptions also reconnect after a short pause.

Resume without a stuck view

A scroll gesture interrupted by switching apps no longer leaves later updates waiting for the gesture to end. Time spent in the background does not count toward a stalled screen update, while genuine foreground stalls still trigger recovery.

These changes are merged into main for build 42. This note does not confirm TestFlight or App Store availability.
